The NDC will jail or kill me - Kennedy Agyapong

- Kennedy Agyapong has alleged that he will be killed or jailed if the NDC wins the next general elections.

- He said some people in the NPP are gradually making the party's rule unpopular

New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has stated that he will be jailed or killed should the National Democratic Congress (NDC) win the nextgeneral elections.

According to Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, the opposition NDC is somehow targeting him. He's stated that the in four years should the NDC manage to win the 2020 elections he will either be jailed through some "flimsy" charge, or be killed outright.

The firebrand NPP legislator also seems to have made enemies within his own party's ranks. He's alleged that some NPP party members have met at the Alisa Hotel in Accra in order to scheme to bring him down.

He stated that his party - the NPP - only last year's elections because Ghanaians felt that the then ruling NDC were perceived to be corrupt and so they voted against them.

He further expressed that the - according to him - NPP members who did little to help the party during opposition were not painting him black in the eyes of the President.

God has blessed me and they will all be disgraced. Whatever they are doing will fall flat because I am fighting a just course. Na true I go talk”, he said emphatically.

The maverick Assin Central lawmaker expressed that he'll do everything he can to clean up the ruling NPP because the alternative would be dangerous for him.

I will correct all wrongs in NPP because should NDC come into power now, they will either kill me, collapse my business or find a flimsy charge against me to be jailed,” he said.

He Maintained that President Nana Akufo Addo is the right man for the job, but that people in hi entourage had gradually been denigrating his governments image.

"It is too early for these things”, he added.
