Black Stars coach, James Kwesi Appiah has named his starting eleven to face off Ethiopia at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi Sunday.
The game against the Walia Antelopes of Ethiopia will the Black Stars opening match to book a place for the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Kwesi Appiah’s squad is a blend of both old and new, as well as Ghana's in-form players.
Wa All Stars’ Richard Ofori will be the goalkeeper for the Black Stars this afternoon barring any last minute change.
The back four will comprise Leicester City’s Daniel Amartey, who will be partnered in central defence by in-form John Boye.
Columbus Crew defender Harrison Afful will maintain his position at right-back and 1860 Munich’s Agbenyenu Lumor will make his debut for the Stars at the left back.
In-form forward Raphael Dwamena will partner captain, Asamoah Gyan as strikers.
