Popular former Ghanaian actor turned Christian evangelists, Majid Michel, has surreptitiously hit back at hi critics who've claimed that his somewhat sudden decision to go into the pastoral ministry has been a cry for attention.
Prior to his decision to turn to the pulpit, Majid Michel was considered one Ghana's foremost guy heartthrob on the silver screen, something that made his sudden turn to Christian evangelism all the more surprising.
Some of the former actor's critics went on to say that the actor-turned-evangelist's turn to Christianity was just a phase, while others said that it it's a cry for attention from the Ghanaian public - not that he needed one of, course.

Now in what is probably the most Christian - but no less stinging - response ever made to critics on Ghanaian social media, Majid michel has clearly stated that his evangelism is not being done to please men.
In a post on his personal Instagram profile, Majid Michel has taken a direct biblical quote (Galatians 1:10) and rhetorically asked, "Am I now trying to win the favor and approval of men, or of God?". The quote goes on to say that, "If I were still trying to be popular with men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.”
