Barbara's late husband, Major Mahama, was lynched at Denkyira-Obuasi two weeks ago after the residents reportedly mistook him for an armed robber.
According to the police, a snail seller in the community spotted a pistol that was tucked to the soldier's waist and called an assembly man to say that she had seen an armed robber.
The assembly man, William Baah, then quickly organised people to kill Major Mahama, without even trying to ascertain if the claim that he was a robber was true.
