- The NDC secretary rained harsh words on the presidents for being absent at Major Mahama's funeral
- He states the president is not concerned with the welfare of the citizenry, since he has been on international trips over the past few weeks
- Koku Anyidoho has described the president as incompetent with the governing of the country
The deputy general secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Koku Anyidoho has criticized President Akufo-Addo for being incompetent with regards to governing the country.
According to Mr. Anyidoho, the President is off globetrotting while the country in a state of mourning over the recent lawlessness that has claimed lives in parts of the country.
He stated, the ‘soul of the country is wailing’ since the Akufo-Addo was sworn in, due to the recent mob attacks and violence.
Speaking in an interview with Rainbow Rado’s Kwame Tutu, Mr. Anyidoho said the violence, suicide and spillage of blood were the result of evil forces that had sprung up only after the New Patriotic Party came into power.
He wondered where the president was, since the country was in an unhappy state.
“Is this what we voted for? When Ghanaians mourned the late Major Mahama, he abandoned the state burial and traveled abroad. Is this what we voted for? Nana Addo is only interested in luxurious spending on birthday parties, hotels with his friends and family but do not have Ghanaians at heart,” Mr. Anyidoho said.
The NDC secretary also said President Akufo-Addo had taken more trips than Former President Kufuor did in two years.
This, according to the NDC secretary was because Ghana had ‘a uselessly incompetent president’ sitting at the helm of governance.
Mr. Anyidoho further went on to lambaste the president over the current setbacks facing various sectors in the country, due to inefficient management.
