The Deputy General Secretary of the National democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has lashed out at President Akufo-Addo for turning a blind eye on the level of lawlessness that have characterized his administration.

According to the NDC top member, the president is preceding and supervising ‘incompetent lawlessness’ which he seems to be helpless in putting an end to anytime soon.
Speaking on an Accra-based GH One television, Mr Anyidoho insisted that, the recent ‘Rambo’ style of NPP foot soldiers attacking state institutions is a clear evidence that, the president lacks the will in stilling discipline within the NPP.

“They went into the flagstaff house and beat up a serving officer right under the nose of the President and that is gross incompetence and lawlessness. That is why we’re saying it’s only under the watch of Akufo-Addo we’re seeing lawlessness fly on several unguarded wings out of the window,” Koku Anyidoho pointed out.
He also alleged that, the military high command is equally offended that he [Akufo-Addo] as the Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Arm Forces chose to attend an “Oceans Summit” abroad over the state burial of the late Major Maxwell Mahama who was murdered recently.

Anyidoho in a surprised turn, accused the President for only taking interest in embarking on international trips neglecting his core duty as a president.
“If the President want to change his citizenship, he should let Ghanaians know and stop travelling around the globe,” he said.
