- A member of the NPP has questioned the moral integrity of some NDC members in criticizing Akufo-Addo style of governance
- He says they should keep mute and allow the President revive the economy they collapsed due to their eight years of corruption
A leading member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Stephen Arhin has descended on some members of the opposition NDC for their moral right in criticizing President Akufo-Addo’s style of governance.
According to him, there are some ‘elements’ within the NDC trying to force Akufo-Addo meet all his campaign promises when his administration is barely six months in government.
Speaking in a media interview today, Mr Arhin explained that, the level of mess wreaked on the Ghanaian economy by the past Mahama administration requires some special attention to revive the sector.
He insisted that, President Akufo-Addo cannot use only six months in office in fixing a eight-year long broken economy inherited from the ‘corrupt’ and incompetent Mahama administration.
“Things are changing under the current government and believe me, by the end of this year, Akufo-Addo, Bawumia government will fix the tattered economy and make life better for all Ghanaians who were subjected to all kinds of sufferings under the wicked NDC government,” he said.
The NPP guru maintained that, majority of Ghanaians voted massively for Nana Addo due to the trust they had in him in improving lives for the pro-poor in society.
In his view, the same God who ordained Nana Addo as the President of the Republic will surely give him wisdom to rule, in shaming his self-seeking NDC critics who looted state funds into their private pockets forgetting the suffering masses.
