But this angelic photo of the president being a page-boy in his formative years tends to speak volumes of how innocent and pure a character he is or maybe was.

YEN.com.gh dug deeper into the history box of Nana Addo and found among many other things that the president in his young and innocent years was indeed the pearl of everyone!

This picture you are seeing dates back to 1951 – that’s 66 years ago – when one of the founding fathers of Ghana who is also part of the well-known “Big Six”, J.B Danquah, was holding his wedding.

In fact, you could see young Akufo-Addo (first from the left) sitting in a pensive mood and taking a deep glance at J.D Danquah. None of us know what was going through the mind of Nana Addo but let’s just say he could have been aspiring to reach higher heights in life just as the astute lawyer – J.B Danquah did in his prime years.

But one may conjecture that the president became what he is today by nature considering the “good and wise” company he associated himself with all through his years as a politician.

Today, Nana Addo is president of Ghana with stark challenges facing his presidency as the energy crisis, issues of political vigilantism, the economy and many others.

But despite these stark challenges, the president of the republic says his government is committed to turning up the economic fortunes of the country mainly through the expansion of the private sector.
