There is bad news looming for Kofi Asamoah, the director of the Ghanaian hit movie, “John & John” as a South African director has called him out for “stealing”.
The South African director of “SKEEM”, Tim Greene, is not very happy with the similarities between “John & John” and his movie.
The Ghanaian movie, which broke Ghana records by selling more tickets than any other movie, was supposedly adapted from the SKEEM according to an earlier explanation by Kofi Asamoah
Kofi Asamoah also suggested on the TV show, Pundits, that he had asked for permission from Tim Greene before his adaptation the award-winning “SKEEM”
However, it seems Tim Greene is not aware of this so called “adaptation” as he posted on his Facebook that it was a complete “rip off”.
From comments monitored on Tim’s Facebook post, it’s obvious his colleagues and friends in South Africa are equally surprised but it appears Tim, may not be taking court action.
Below is a video that compares the striking similarities between the two movies.
Do you think Kofas Media copied the movie from Tim Greene?
