The final funeral rites have been held for the fallen soldier, Major Mahama at Bole in the Northern Region.
Family of the bereaved family used the solemn moment at the funeral grounds to re-emphasize their call on government to establish a monument not just to commemorate the death of the soldier but also ensure that the menace of mob justice is brought to an end.
The police and military are still closing in on perpetrators of Major Mahama’s killing as over 14 persons have so far been picked for both questioning and imprisonment.
Meanwhile, the chief justice nominee, Gloria Akuffo has revealed during a vetting before the appointment committee her resolve to ensure that the law works across the country so as for Ghanaians to believe in the judicial process.
