The Ghana Police Service in Kasoa have arrested and detained some gentleman for pretending to be officers of the Ghana Army.
According to reports, the 3 arrested men were posing as military men and engaged in robbing the people of the area.
Daniel Sosu, aged 25, a trader at Kaneshie was arrested alongside Isaac Sosu, a 35-year-old driver's mate and William Ahiavli 30, a sprayer.
They were all reportedly arrested whiles wearing military uniform and have been remanded in police custody pending further investigations.
The Kasoa District Police Commander, Superintendent Stephen Ahiafafu told journalists that the trio were picked up following complaints from some locals that they had been terrorising and robbing residents.
According to him, the men who reside at Banana-In in Accra, moved from Accra and to Gomoa Budumburam and attacked the victims at a spot located at the lorry station in Budumburam.
When the suspects arrived at the spot they begun spraying the victims faces with a substance suspected to be pepper spray and then pulled screw drivers on them but the victims out of fear surrendered where their monies where collected from them.
However, they were arrested at their hideout after some investigations by the police.
