According to recent popular reports, Kumawood actor Lil Win, born Kwadwo Nkansa, has allegedly parted ways with his wife, Patricia Afriyie, although the actor has dismissed the rumor.
Just as the old proverb goes, that, "A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is still putting on its shoes," such is the case of the rumor concerning Kumawood actor Lil Win's alleged seperation with his long time girlfriend, Patricia Afriyie.
Recent rumors have run rife on several publications stating that the celebrated comedian had separated with his wife due to alleged infidelity issues. The reports went as far as to say that Lil Win - a household name in the Ghanaian movie industry - evicted his wife from their marital home, adding that the actors mother has moved in to take care of the couple's children.

According to a report by Ghanacelebrities.com, the separation happened "a little while ago", adding that news of the couple's troubles hadn't reached the public domain simply because events that lead to the "breakdown is embarrassing and efforts have been made to sweep it under the carpet".
But responding to questions concerning his relationship on Happy FM's Ayekoo, the celebrated comedian said denied the popular claims.
“Oh I see, it seems its only you people that are talking about it. In this world, you cannot be living your life based on rumors and hear say. If I have issues with my wife, I will not come out and start complaining about it," he said ambiguously.

Lil Win went on to say that he knows that some people make a living out of writing about the lives of celebrities, and generally has no problem with it. He stated that once one became a celebrity one's name inevitably would be attached to controversies.
Although he concluded by saying that the rumor is not true, and that the public should not heed it.
“If you are living with a lady and she leaves you when you have not done anything to her, then God will not bless you. So don’t listen to humans. Don’t mind anybody. It is not true.”
