- The former first is reported to have referred to the commedian as "boring"
- The comment generated a lot of talk about the quality of DKB's performance on stage
- The recent meeting of the two is expected to put to rest comments about the supposed frosty relationship
Perhaps a comment supposedly coming from Ghana’s former first lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, concerning comedian Derrick Kobina Bonney (DKB)’s stage acts may not have been as is alleged.
The two are seen bonding at a sendoff party for the UNAIDS ambassador to Ghana, Girmay Haile, at the Labadi Beach Hotel.
She is reported to have been present at an earlier event hosted by the comedian, and rose up to leave midway into the event.
When questioned, her excuse alluded to the fact that she found him boring.
The remark sent tongues wagging for about a month, with a core focus on an assessment of the entertainer’s ability to engage his audience.
This led many to conclude that there was bad blood between the two.

Scenes capturing the two engaged in a conversation may finally lay to rest the debate about whether or not they have a bone to pick.
