Otiko Djaba's "crony" abandons her as she begs Bugri Naabu for forgiveness

A "crony" of Madam Otiko Afisa Djaba, Minister of Gender and Social Protection who had allegedly ganged up with the minister against Bugri Naabu has finally shown some remorse.

Madam Afishetu Abdul-Wahab, who is a Women's Organizer of the New Patriotic Party in Tamale, asked for forgiveness from the party's leadership.

The organiser was nearly axed from the party after she reportedly rained insults on Bugri Naabu.

Her actions went against the ethics of the NPP who had threatened to take action against her.

However, in rather remorseful turn, Afishetu Abdul-Wahab has called on the NPP executives to mete out the justice she deserved with a little mercy.

She explained that her actions and insults were because "she was not aware the Gender Minister’s meeting was not sanctioned by the office of the Regional Chairman."

In the letter, Afishetu promised to turn over a new leaf and never repeat her mistakes if given another chance.
