- NDC's Koku Anyidoho is saying many Ghanaians are wishing the NDC back to power barely six months of NPP in power
- He says many more Ghanaians are disappointed in the NPP which promised them 'heaven' in the 2016 election
Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho is saying “visionless, clueless” Akufo-Addo-led NPP government making life more unbearable for many Ghanaians barely six months into power.
According to him, President Akufo-Addo’s style of handling affairs has only exacerbated woes of many Ghanaians.
To him, the only way Ghanaians can find comfort in their homes and businesses is to bring the NDC to power in the next elections.
Speaking in a media interview today in Accra, the NDC deputy scribe submitted that, many Ghanaians have regretted voting the NDC and the Mahama-led administration into opposition.
“Ghana has entered a period of worrying political era, he said, adding there’s no doubt a “visionless, clueless and spineless” NPP government makes life tough for Ghanaians today.
Koku Anyidoho also lamented that, President Akufo-Addo has turned himself into what he describes as “visiting president” who barely stays in the country to see smooth running of affairs.
The former presidential spokesperson also indicated that, he drives around town most of the times; and there’s a loud voice of many Ghanaians calling on him and the NDC to come salvage situations.
“In Akufo-Addo’s absence, Dr Bawumia has taken over but he’s also struggling to manage affairs. It’s not my prayer that the NPP will lose grip in ruling the nation, but it’s almost clear that the country is in a mess under Akufo-Addo regime,” he alleged
He however decried that, “in late President Mills’ first five months in office, President Mahama’s first five months and even former President Kufuor, things were better than what we are seeing now. Akufo-Addo is sending Ghana into a ditch and Ghanaians must wake up and kick out the NPP in 2020.” he said
