- Sarkodie disrespected me and I will not do music with him again
- Freddy Meiway rebukes rapper Sarkodie on live radio
Ivorian music legend, Freddy Meiway has described rapper Sarkodie as “disrespectful”. According to the ‘Zoblazo’ hitmaker even though he admires the award winning artiste and likes his music, his work etiquette is bad.
"I have this song that I wanted to put Sarkodie on. I sent him the song and it's more than a year and he didn't jump on the song. Anytime I contact him, it's all excuse; my wife just delivered a baby girl, I'm with her in America, I would do it don't worry; today excuse, tomorrow excuse. He's good but he doesn't respect at all. He has to change his attitude,” he said in an interview on Joy FM.
"His Adonai song was so big in Cote d'Ivoire, so I wanted to work with him badly but look at what he put me through?? I won't even feature him on my song again. He should do something about his attitude before it's late, he's full of disrespect,” he added.
But in a swift response to the accusations, Sarkodie apologised to Freddy Meiway, explaining how he feels bad about his inability to respond to the message he received some time back.
“… I’m sorry daddy ... Really sorry ... Hope I can still make it up to you ... I respect you a lot !!!!”
