- Some critics have taken on the NPP government for appointing actor Abraham Attah as a Free SHS ambassador
- They claim he's not fit for the role since he schools abroad
Some angry social media commentators have lashed out at President Akufo-Addo administration for unveiling young Ghanaian Hollywood actor, Abraham Attah as an ambassador for his Free SHS policy.
Social media platforms especially Facebook, went harsh with barrage of criticism after the young gentleman was unveiled.
Some of the critics held the view that, Abraham Attah doesn’t deserve the honor since he currently pursues his education abroad after his movie spotlight.
They insists, he therefore cannot qualify as an ambassador for educational system he doesn’t believe in.
Whiles many Ghanaians share varied views on the actor’s new role, others suggested that, a popular Kumawood actress, Maame Serwaa best fits the Free SHS ambassador role.
Though there are some others who are rooting for the young man. It seems his new honor by the president has generated much discussions on social media than when he landed super star Idris Elba’s movie role.
Actor Abraham Attah, was officially named Thursday as ambassador for Ghana government’s Free SHS Programme by Educational Minister, Mathew Opoku Prempeh.
In his role as ambassador, he will serve as a role model for Ghanaian children across the country, from poor homes, especially to take advantage of government’s plan to make education accessible for all children.
