Omega Inkoom, wife of Ghanaian international, Samuel Inkoom has consoled her husband in an emotional message after world governing football body FIFA, slapped him with a-one year ban.
FIFA this week issued a-one year long harsh ban on the defender for cheating an agent in a transfer deal back in 2014.
The former Asante Kotoko defender had been ordered to pay his creditor, Curtis Willet some amount of $65,000 cash or in default serve a ban.
But the footballer failed to offset his debt to the agent, after he was transferred from Ukrainian side Dnipro three years ago.
News of his ban went viral after the former Basel defender was handed the one year long ban.
But his wife in a Facebook post affirmed total support for her embattled husband, edging him to remain strong.
"You raise us up so we can stand the mountain, you raise us up to walk on stormy seas, we are strong when we are on your shoulders, you raise us up to more than we can be #Wearegrateful #happysabbath #inkoomclan #inkoomfamily #inkoombabies #mystrength #ilovemyfamily I LOVE YOU SO MUCH,” she wrote on her Facebook page.
The footballer in a similar incidence was dragged to the world governing body for being in debt to his landlord during his time with Major Soccer League side DC United.
