The artiste, born Emmanuel Botwe, has revealed that he can now "walk freely" around Kumasi without looking over his shoulders.
Regional Commander of Police, Kofi Boakye, was transferred from Ashanti Region to the Research and Planning Department of the Greater Accra force.
During his time in Kumasi, Kofi Boakye and Kwaw Kese had a run-in when the rapper was arrested for possession of marijuana. Speaking on the arrest, COP Boakye said that Kwaw Kese was also "smoking with impunity".
Months after the run-in, which landed the "Man Insane" behind bars, he seems to have found a fresh puff of air in the police commander's transfer from the region.
Kwaw, who is reportedly building a house in the region, told the Kumasi-based Ultimate FM that he is now "I am not scared to be in Kumasi".
He stated that with Kofi Boakye "stripped of his power", everything in the "Garden City" seemed much calmer now.
He however brushed away all rumors of a rift between him and Kofi Boakye saying that, "[Kofi Boakye] is my big man, no matter what".
