President Nana Akufo-Addo has left the shores of the country and is scheduled to embark on a three-day official visit to the Republic of Zambia.
The President left on Monday, June 26, 2017, immediately after joining the Muslim community in Ghana to mark the celebration of Eid-Ul-Fitr in the month of Ramadan.
He is expected to meet up with Zambia President Edgar Lungu - on whose invitation he is in the country - to discuss various issues of bilateral interest.
Akufo-Addo travelled in the company of some government officials, including First Lady, Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchway.
The President and his delegation are expected to arrive back in Ghana on Thursday, June 29.
As part of the three-day visit, Akufo-Addo will be present as Special Guest of Honour at the 53rd Zambia International Trade Fair which will be held in Ndola, a city in the county's Copperbelt Province.
