President of the republic, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has started talks with the Zambian president, Edgar Lungu.

The discussion, which took place at the State House in Zambia, saw both presidents deliberate on the best ways of strengthening bilateral ties and also expanding economic avenues between Ghana and Zambia.
Nana Addo’s three-day visit to Zambia has also seen the president address the Ghanaian community in the country, updating them on his appointment of government officials and also the economic policy and foreign policy of the country.
His visit to Zambia follows a similar visit to Nigeria where he paid a courtesy call on the acting president behind closed doors. Nana Addo’s visit to various African countries follow his resolve to ensure that he familiarizes himself with these countries as he resolves to boost trade among each and every one of them.
