Ghana’s rap doctor, Okyeame Kwame has admitted that he is a fan of a popular TV series that airs on Adom TV. In an Instagram post, the versatile rapper admitted that he watched the much talked about Indian telenovela, Kunkum Bhagya recently.
The telenovela is watched by many people because it has been transalted into the local Ghanaian parlance; twi language.
Many viewers of the programme stay glued to their TV sets and watch the programme which has been running for a number of years now.
In an Instagram post, Okyeame Kwame gave a review about a number of characters in the series. He wondered why they had a funny kind of voice and added it sounded as though they had swallowed frogs.
Many people have admitted watching the programme which has in a way gained national popularity for the use of the local language. It would be noticed that many people give their own review of the programme on social media and discuss happenings of the programme in small meetings.
The "woara" hit maker joins in on the millions of Ghanaians who watch the TV series.
The series stars like Sriti Jha, Shabbir Ahluwalia with Mrunal Thakur, Arjit Taneja/Vin Rana, Shikha Singh and Leena Jumani. It was produced by Ekta Kapoor. The series started airing in Ghana in 2015 and airs from Monday to Friday.
The series revolves around the two main characters, Abhi and Pragya.
