The competition which began on June 5, at the University of Ghana saw about 108 schools participating in 38 contests.
Three schools competed in each of the 38 preliminary stage contests, and winners of these stages joined seeded schools from the 2016 contest to compete for a position at the finale.
It has been exciting times for students and old school alumni of the competing schools as many have placed their bets hoping for their school to take coveted trophy.
Social media played a big role in the support of the competition this year, and the finale looks to be widely covered by many media houses as well as interested old students.
