Charles Kofi wayo, the founder and leader of the defunct United Renaissance Party (URP), has said he still nursing hopes of becoming the President of Ghana if Ghanaians will wise up.

According to the ‘laud mouth’ politician, he has all the qualities of a President but myopic NDC and NPP politicians have succeeded in clouding the judgment of Ghanaians.

Kofi Wayo who dumped politics for farming said, successive government have paid lip service to the Ghanaians because majority of the citizenry are not enlightened, and continue in the same pattern without ‘thinking’.

The outspoken politician who was clearly livid on the development insisted that, both NPP and NDC are only seeking to enrich themselves and not to seek for the welfare of the masses who voted them into power.

He maintained that, that is the more reason why he will not accept an appointment from any of the two parties now or even in future.

Kofi Wayo in a media interview today lamented that, many farmers today in rural areas are unable to fend for their families when they are the once supposed to be taken care of properly.

Mr Wayo in a strong welded words stressed that, he will never associate himself with the ruling NPP or the NDC, because they are what he described as “thieves”.
