Maverick politician and leading member of the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Agyapong, is predicting the party could lose the 2020 elections if ministers including the president continue feeding Ghanaians with rhetoric.

In an interview with Asempa FM, the bitter Member of Parliament for Assin Central warned that Ghanaians are in search of money in their pockets and a boisterous economy and not necessarily the rattling of English Language.
Kennedy Agyapong had recently lamented how government neglected him with the award of contracts but rather scheming to ensure his downfall. He therefore threatened to “reveal” the actual reason why the NPP won power in the 2016 elections.
It remains unsure what exactly could be the relationship between the maverick politician and the party but checks by YEN.com.gh show that Kennedy Agyapong could have been relegated to the background as he has no say at all in the clear direction for the party.
