- This will see such persons given free passes for public transportation
Government says it stays committed to ensuring that all senior citizens in the country are made to live in the comfort they so deserve.
This, the president of the republic has revealed would be done through the provision of free public transportation to all such citizens in order to reward them for their relentless services for the development of the country.
Speaking at an event to commemorate the 57th Republic Day celebration, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo revealed that; “Government remains committed to providing the aged with a ‘freedom pass’ to enable you ride for free on all public transportation.”
So far, it remains unsure this initiative could take place but YEN.com.gh can report that government could introduce new pass cards for all such persons.
