It would be remembered that an earlier attempt to cross-examine the businessman remained on the balance as Mr Woyome has filed for a review of the entire case leveled against him.

Should the court rule against Woyome’s request, he will then be questioned by the Attorney General on the practical ways by which he, Mr Woyome, seeks to pay off the 51 million cedis judgement debt wrongfully paid him by the state.

Alfred Woyome is documented to have been paid in excess of the said amount after claims had it that he had solicited for funds for the construction of stadia ahead of the 2008 African Cup of Nations – a development which saw a 2010 auditor general’s report reveal that the payment was actually illegal.
