nformation received by YEN indicates that the hearing of an application filed on behalf of suspended human rights lawyer, Francis Xavier Sosu, has been adjourned.
This new development was at the request for counsels of both parties, because it has been established that fresh allegations have been levelled against the General Legal Council (GLC).
Sosu filed the application to contest his three – year suspension from the legal profession.
The lawyer was banned last month, for the offences of overcharging a client, advertising himself amongst others.
He however appealed the decision and then applied for a stay of execution of the three (3) year ban.
