-The NDC organizer has thrown jabs at the seat of government, the Flagstaff House
-He believes it is currently rife with corrupt activities
-He noted that the NPP MP, Kennedy Agyapong’s recent statements were the confirmation of their doubts about the credibility of the seat of government
The National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, Kofi Adams has described the Flagstaff House which is the seat of government, as the center of all corrupt actions.
According to him, the recent jabs thrown against the ruling New Patriotic Party by their own member, Kennedy Agyapong has confirmed their misgivings about the presidential palace.
Mr. Adams opined that it was unfathomable how the presidency could be turned into a ‘corruption headquarters’, when there is president who is supposed to be an incorruptible leader.
“Unless the president is sleeping, if we have a president who has seen corruption at the Flagstaff House, why would he sleep on that? Flagstaff House is now the ‘Head of corruption…,” he stated on Okay FM.
The NDC Organizer’s comments follow the recent spitfire by the member of parliament for Assin Central that has dominated the news.
Kennedy Agyapong has condemned the NPP for various acts of alleged corruption, as he accused some members of using the Flagstaff House as their port of corrupt activities.
Mr. Agyapong further lamented that his support to the party during the 2016 elections has not been acknowledged, as he is yet to receive any contract for his business.
Mr. Agyapong stated that while the NPP is on the seat of government, it seems there are some members of the opposition NDC, still at play in some branches of the government.
This, he believes, is why some NPP bigwigs including himself have been sidelined.
