- The acting Chairman believes that the MP's comments were taken out of context
- He added that the MP has always pointed out the errors of the party
- He concluded by grading the NPP administration in six months as better than the NDC
Lawyer, politician and currently the acting National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay, has stated that the alleged comments of member of parliament (MP) for Assin North, honourable Kennedy Agyapong have been misconstrued.
The MP, at a recently held delegates conference in his constituency, criticized his party for the neglect of foot soldiers who played a role in bringing the party to office.
The acting Chairman indicated that, though he wasn’t present at the event, he believed the comments were made in good faith.
