Being in political office comes with so many priviledges including learning a new foreign dialect like the Chinese language and the second lady, Samira Bawumia can be a witness to that!
Samira Bawumia had recently visited a Chinese model school where students are being trained and oriented on the traditions and cultures of the Republic of China.
Named the Beijing Jingyuan Primary School, authorities of the school say they are resolved to ensuring that the heritage of the Chinese is strictly preserved.
Samira Bawumia took the opportunity at the school to try her hands at Chinese calligraphy where she was caught on camera drawing the first two letters in the spelling of China, C and H in Chinese calligraphy to loud applause.
The visit by the second lady is aimed at transferring the knowledge of culture preservation by China to Ghana.
This was on the sidelines of the vice president’s visit to China where he secured a $15 billion agreement with the Chinese government.
