Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia has stated that no one could stop him from manufacturing and selling blocks owing to the legitimacy of his building blocks business.
Asiedu aka General Mosquito said that his business could not be scrutinized if the business was genuine and he had all the essential papers to operate.
News of his illicit block business activities surfaced in 2011 when it was alleged that he was supplying building blocks to construct the Bui Dam Project.
The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress, in an interview with Okay FM put all rumors to bed and denied his involvement in the supply of the blocks.
He explained that the subcontractors found it difficult when it came to accessing the blocks, so he thought it wise to extend his factory which coincidentally was in his hometown so that the subcontractors could benefit.
Aseidu explained that he sold blocks to many contractors in his hometown and around and so he could not keep track of the contractors who sold to the Bui contractors.
