According to Executive Secretary of the National Council of Persons with disability, this will be proof that disabled people are competent and so any further employment from the government will be granted.

A number of disabled Ghanaian have been put under recent employment by the Ministry of Roads and Highways in the New Patriotic Party government.

The Ministry of Roads and Highways revealed that they had employed over two hundred disabled persons to man the toll booths across the country and they were currently under training.

This proves to be a positive step for the sector since they assured the Parliamentary Committee that they would make disabled persons manage the tollbooths and it seems they have stuck to their promise.
