- He stressed on the need for punctuality at workplaces
- He also indicated that office hours should be used productively
- He called for punitive measures for those who have no regard for time
The minister of information, Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, has signed a pledge of punctuality, and encouraged business leaders to focus more attention on punctuality at the work place.
This, he said, would ultimately lead to an increase in productivity.
He again stated that a better management of time would assist in the goal of productivity.
The minister asserted that time management was an issue of critical concern in numerous workplaces in Ghana. This he believed, isn’t helped by the extensive attention given to social media pages by workers during official hours.
He therefore tasked those in authority to enforce adherence to time, notwithstanding the people involved.
