Upcoming actress and fashion icon Nana Akua Addo has claimed that some Ghanaian fashion designers are mere copy cats, as they sometimes miss essential concepts in the world of fashion designs.
Known for her love for good looks, she has gradually carved a niche for herself as the one to look for, if in need of someone to grace your red carpet events.
She confesses she hasn’t been active in the fashion industry for a while, but she certainly doesn’t mind getting a good designer wear, no matter the price.

She however expressed her doubts about the quality of work some Ghanaian fashion designers come out with. She is convinced they have more to learn in the areas of creativity and originality.
According to her, her taste for good fashion has earned her worldwide attention, which she is using to build her brand.
Nana Akua has featured in a number of Ghanaian movies, such as ‘Rain’ and ‘Never Again’. She has two movies to her credit – ‘Wannabe’ and ‘Nukuli’.
In the year 2005, she was announced as the winner of the Miss Ghana Germany event, and the second runner up at the Miss Malaika pageant the same year.
