Paul Adom-Otchere, a broadcaster with Metro TV, has been appointed to the board of the National Communications Authority (NCA).

Adom-Otchere was appointed to the position by the president, Nana Akufo-Addo.
On Thursday, the broadcaster was sworn in alongside eight others by Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the communications minister.
They are: Susan-Barbara Adjorkor Boye Kumapley, Kwame Ayesu, Philip Asare, David Gyewu, Bernard Aidoo-Forson, Kwabena Adu-Boahene, Joe Ankoye and Kwaku Sakyi Addo.
Kwaku Sakyi Addo, a veteran journalist, is the chairman of the board.
The appointment of Adom-Otchere, the host of "Good Evening Ghana" on Metro TV, has been praised by many social media users.
" Well-deserved appointment! Congratulations, Paul," Facebook user, Ababa Babamaigida wrote.
"Hard work and excellence pays," Cudjoe Frank also wrote on Facebook.
