A National Democratic Congress serial caller, Frank Appiah has said the party's 2020 election campaign will run on the recent statements made by the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong.
The NDC member, popularly known as Appiah Stadium, indicated that the New Patriotic Party stalwart's statements are the weapons the NDC will use to defeat the NPP.
"Kennedy Agyapong is making work easier for us [NDC] in 2020. So they [NPP] rigged the elections and pretended they won that fairly. We have the weapon to fight them back now," Mr. Appiah said on NEAT FM.
Appiah Stadium who expressed delight at the recent attacks on the NPP by their own member, argued that the NPP MP's words would help the NDC prove their point, to be the best choice for the country.
His remarks follow Kennedy Agyapong's recent rants on media about certain happenings in the party.
Mr. Agyapong hinted that there were some suspicious factors at play, which assisted the NPP in securing a victory at the 2016 general elections.
According to him, there are some party members that are working to bring him down, and he will not hesitate to drag the party down with him if these members do not end their schemes.
He dared anyone who attempted to ruin his business to make an attempt, as he is ready to reveal all, in terms of how the NPP truly won the elections.
Meanwhile, a member of the Awutu-Senya Constituency Council of the New Patriotic Party has bemoaned the nonchalant attitude of the party's disciplinary committee regarding the conduct of some members.
According to, Alhaji Mohammed Musah, the NPP Disciplinary Committee was failing to uphold its responsibilities, in handling the harsh statements the Assin Central lawmaker has spewed about the party.
He said it is about time Mr. Agyapong is called to order, as his conduct is causing damage to the NPP.
