Eric Ayiah, Captain of Ghana's under 17 national football team, the Black Starlets, has expressed apprehension at the prospect of facing USA's under 17 men's national team at the upcoming under 17 FIFA World Cup.
According to the young and promising national team skipper, the USA's under 17 national football team will be a major threat to Ghana's 2017 under 17 World Cup aspirations during the group stage.
Slated to take place in India, Ghana has been slotted into the same group as the United States of America, India, and Colombia.

"Now we know the countries in our group but we don’t know anything about the teams so it’s going to be difficult," said Ghana's young under 17 Captain, speaking to Starr FM following the draw.
"But we are going to prepare very well to face them. USA may be our biggest contenders," said Eric Ayiah, adding that he felt the USA is a "football country" but that he's team was determined to to work hard to overcome the USA threat.
Ghana's Black Starlets will be the first team, along with the Colombia, to play in the this year's under 17 FIFA World Cup that will be held in India from the 6th, to 28th October.
