A ranking member of the pressure group IMANI Ghana, Mr. Casely Hayford, has joined the group of Ghanaians calling for Member of Parliament (MP) for the Dome Kwabenya constituency, Ms. Sarah Adwoa Sarfo.

Mr. Casely Hayford has unambiguously condemned Hon. Sarah Adwoa Sarfo's comments concerning who "actually" constructed the Dome Kwabenya Day Senior High School. According to Mr. Hayford, the fact that Ghanaians are being subjected to "blatant lies" from someone well positioned in society is unacceptable.

Hon. Sarah Adwoa Sarfo, who's also the Minister of State in charge of Procurement, has come under fire from members Ghanaian society after a video of her claiming credit for the construction of the Dome Kwabenya Day Senior High School began circulating online.

In the video circulating online, the Dome Kwabenya MP condemned the erstwhile Mahama led administration for taking credit for the construction of the constituency's school building. She said that it was rather her involvement at the World Bank level that facilitated that school's construction.

Mr. Hayford, speaking on Citi FM, called on President Nana Akufo Addo to force the Dome Kwabenya legislator to apologize for her "false" comments or outright dismiss her. According to the high ranking IMANI Ghana member, President Nana Akufo Addo needs to protect the integrity of his administration from such comments.
