- According to him, due process was not followed with regard to the appoinment
- He however believes that everyone who deserves to assume an office would have his turn
Addai Nimo, who formerly represented the people of Mampong, in the Ashanti region, has revealed that he was offered an appointment, but refused to take it.
His reason, was that, the intent was not followed by a recognition of the due process of law.
According to him, he discussed a number of job offers when he went to the Flagstaff House. The president then suggested the role of the administrator of the Road Fund.
The former mp however queried the president on the details of the Act that established the fund.
It was then that it came to light that there were procedures that needed to be followed, if the appointment was to become legal.
He however added that he isn’t disappointed, as the business of running a nation is a continuous process, hence there would be opportunities for everyone.
