- Lawyer Maurice Ampah says Ghana is a 'sick nation' for letting Asamoah Gyan off the hook
- He says Gyan boasting on television about his clients case is enough for him to go to jail
A private legal practitioner, Lawyer Maurice Ampah is saying he is disappointed the Black Stars’ captain Asamoah Gyan, is walking about as a free man after admitting sleeping with his client, Sara Kwablah.
According to him, Ghana is a ‘sick country’ for not caging ‘dangerous soul’ like Asamoah Gyan, after he succeeded in mocking and humiliated his client in a live television interview.
To him, Gyan is a ‘walking threat,’ who will continue to endanger the lives of many innocent ladies and society, therefore he must be thrown to jail.
Speaking on a popular KSM Show, the lawyer insisted that Asamoah Gyan completely goofed and nailed himself when he openly boasted about his extramarital affairs with Sarah Kwablah.
“Gyan was on set with Delay and narrated whatever happened. I was a little bit disappointed with the captain because I thought he is a married man and has a wife. When they ask questions like did you sleep with the girl? he should’ve avoided but he went ahead boldly and said yes.”
With this, Maurice Ampah says he finds the outburst as sickening on the part of the treacherous captain, and has also come to realization that Ghana is a ‘sick’ nation.
The Black Stars captain, made headlines after the 2015 AFCON tournament for allegedly sleeping with one Sarah Kwablah.
He was subsequently dragged before court by the victim and her family. Years after the legal tussles, Gyan recently confessed to the act, claiming they both enjoyed the love making.
He also said among other things in a live television interview, he followed the lady to her house in his dirty jersey and slept with her the first day he met her.
