The long-standing feud between Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kwesi Nyantakyi and his vice George Afriyie continue to brew with the latest incident leading to FA president threatening to sack his number two.
According to a SportsObama.com report, the Mr Nyantakyi on Tuesday summoned an emergency meeting to make his grievances known about Mr Afriyie.
The FA president is reported to have announced his decision to sack and replace the vice president because he did not trust the current one.
Mr Nyantakyi, a FIFA executive council member is alleged to have questioned the loyalty of Afriyie on several counts, resulting in the former firing a damaging remark in response, impugning among others, that he Nyantakyi is a “greedy man”.
The news from SportsObama.com further added that Mr George Afriyie who was very angry told Mr Nyantaki to “take his FA”.
Meanwhile, the GFA boss has also arranged an executive committee meeting next week where he will appoint a new vice president of the federation.
The two top officials in Ghana football have been at each other's neck over matters of trust and loyalty.
In January this year, Mr chess Nyantakyi accused his vice, George Afriyie for leaking information and aligning with then Sports Minister, Nii Lantey Vanderpuye been at loggerheads with the GFA boss.

The matter was since resolved by some bigwigs at the FA and in Ghana football.
