Over the last seven days, lawyer and MP Sarah Adwoa Sarfo has consistently made the headlines over comments she made in a video taking credit for the construction of a community day SHS building in her constituency.

"When we were in opposition things were tough but we managed to do one or two things that I need to mention, first is this very facility we’re seated in now which is the Secondary school we have here in Dome-Kwabeny... It was through my hard work that we have this school." said the Dome Kwabenya legislator.

In a sharp rebuttal to MP Adwoa Sarfo's claims, former Deputy Education Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa along with the World Bank (who co-funded the scheme), have dismissed the MP's claims saying that the World Bank deals with governments and not individuals.

"Stop defending her. That’s my piece of advice . . . “She’s a beautiful girl, beautiful woman, very intelligent. She has a great future ahead of her,” he concluded.
