- Hon. Adwoa Sarfo recently claimed credit for the construction of the Dome-Kwabenya community day SHS

Veteran radio personality, Kwame Sefa Kayi has urged members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to stop defending Dome Kwabenya Member of Parliament (MP), Adwoa Sarfo.
Over the last seven days, lawyer and MP Sarah Adwoa Sarfo has consistently made the headlines over comments she made in a video taking credit for the construction of a community day SHS building in her constituency.
According to her, she lobbied for funds at the World Bank and secured land for the school's construction, therefore claiming credit for the relatively new edifice.

"When we were in opposition things were tough but we managed to do one or two things that I need to mention, first is this very facility we’re seated in now which is the Secondary school we have here in Dome-Kwabeny... It was through my hard work that we have this school." said the Dome Kwabenya legislator.
In a sharp rebuttal to MP Adwoa Sarfo's claims, former Deputy Education Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa along with the World Bank (who co-funded the scheme), have dismissed the MP's claims saying that the World Bank deals with governments and not individuals.

Also giving his opinion on the issue, radio journalist Kwame Sefa Kayi wondered how exactly the Dome Kwabenya MP - who's also the State Minister in charge of Procurement - has could take credit for the school's construction.
"If she says she bought the land, then Tema was not built by Kwame Nkrumah because the land wasn’t his. Then Kwame Nkrumah didn’t establish Tech (KNUST) because the land wasn’t his . . . Akosombo is not Kwame Nkrumah because the land wasn’t his . . . Stop it!" Stressed Kwame Sefa kayi.
"Stop defending her. That’s my piece of advice . . . “She’s a beautiful girl, beautiful woman, very intelligent. She has a great future ahead of her,” he concluded.
