The father of the Ghanaian footballer who has been accused of murdering his mother and sister has arrived in Italy to get answers from his son as to why he decided to end their lives.

They have arrived from England to get firsthand information form their son about the incident. Mr. Fred Nyantakyi who is based in England arrived in Italy accompanied by his eldest son, Raymond.

The father of the footballer is believed to have left Italy for London after staying there for 15 years due to work.

When the news reached him, he is reported to have broken down into uncontrollable tears and has been crying since he heard about their passing. He said he had spoken to his wife and daughter earlier that day. He had made arrangements to move them to come and join him in London when the unfortunate incident took place.

He said he was devastated and wanted to get answers from his son. He was accompanied by some of the Ghanaians living in London with him who were all shocked to hear of the sad incident. Some of the uncles of the Ghanaian footballer also accompanied Mr. Fred Nyantakyi to access the situation.

The Ghanaian community living in Italy received the shock of their lives when the news was reported of Solomon Nyantakyi taking the lives of his mother and sister in their Italian home.

The young Ghanaian footballer who used to play for the junior side of Parma confessed to committing the gruesome act. He is currently in police custody in Italy pending further investigations.
