A 100-year-old woman has shared the secret to her long life — wine.
Florence Bearse, who turned 100 on July 7 and marked the special day at a home for the elderly in Bangor, Maine, said in an interview: "I do like my wine. Don't take it away from me!"
The home told Daily Mail that it has obtained a doctor's letter allowing them to serve Florence her wine.
And true to her love for the drink, she had a glass of red wine on her birthday.
In addition, she received several bottles of wine as gifts, meaning she has sufficient supply for several weeks.
Florence also shared another tip for long life — do not take any nonsense from people.
