Over hundred girls saved from evil human traffickers

Close to over 150 young girls have been saved from the hands of human traffickers across the country. This was made known by the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) as part of efforts to clamp down on such activities across the country.

Ghana is feared to be among the countries with the highest rate of human trafficking in the country - a development which has seen government initiate measures to clamp down on the development especially through the strengthening of boarders.

Meanwhile, a top government official who acted as the former deputy head of mission to Saudi Arabia, Hajia Hawawu Boya Gariba, has revealed that the menace of human trafficking in Ghana is secretly being spearheaded by top government officials in the country.

Meanwhile, the ministry for gender and social protection has revealed its plan to ensure that all borders in the country are made safe from the horrors of human traffickers.
