- The journalist professed the respect he has for the former minister
- He however claimed that Fuseini could have handled the situation better
- The former minister has however stated that the device was not fully installed
Journalist, and Editor – in – Chief of the New Crusading Guide, Abdul-Malik Kweku Baako is of the opinion that the recent revelations of a bugging device planted in the office of the minister of Lands and Natural Resources Minister is nothing short of an “act of gross indiscretion”.
To him, the act of planting the device, the failure to remove it upon leaving that office and the failure to inform the succeeding ministers makes it difficult for anyone who wishes to jump to his defense.
Information available to YEN indicates that the device, which is said to have the capacity to pick sounds about 30 meters away was placed behind the Coat of Arms that hangs in the office.

Inusah Fuseini admitted that he is the one who planted the device in the office, during his time as minister. He claims it was a gift from a friend.
He however failed to inform his successors Nii Osah Mills and Peter Amewu, upon leaving office.
He however apologized and claimed that the device wasn’t fully installed, and therefore non – functional.
Kweku Baako has argued that the Fuseini is an honest man, and he has a lot of respect for him, but it would be a herculean task to raise a defense for him.
