30-year-old Bobbi-lee Hille is no ordinary photographer. The Australian mother-of-four specializes in culturally significant baby photography – and this usually means stunningly adorable images of babies at their most blissful unawareness.
Her mission is to pay tribute to culture, especially her own Australian indigenous background. In an interview with Daily Mail, Hille said having her own four kids inspired her to embark on this mission.
She often takes her photos against a backdrop of traditional paintings, props and tools. In addition to babies, she also takes photos of pregnant women.
The Perth-based photographer said: “In Australia, we learn a lot about other cultures, but don't know so much about our own. I want to show the beauty in Aboriginal photography and heritage.”
She hopes to keep her culture alive through photography that promotes awareness and showcases her culture’s beauty.
Way to go Hille! The photos look really stunning.
