-As has become the norm of the Second Lady, she was seen adorned in African prints which were colorful and stylishly made

The theme for the Summit was, "For Safer, Healthier and Empowered Futures” and hash-tagged, #HerFuture. The summit was to deliberate on commitments and strategies from various countries on the education and access to family planning and women's rights.

Samira Bawumia dazzles in African-inspired prints in London as she attends Summit on Adolescent Health

The Second Lady of Ghana was accompanied to the Summit by Dr. Patrick Aboagye, Director for Family Health, Ghana Health Service and Hon. Tina Mensah, Deputy Minister of Health who was the leader of Ghana’s delegation.

Discussions on Adolescent Reproductive Health Education in Ghana were held with the Hon. Rory Stewart who is the Joint Minister of State for the Department of International Development and Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

The delegation also met with Melinda Gates and the Deputy U.N. Secretary General Mme. Amina J. Mohammed.
