The Master’s Degree Certificate was handed over to his mother during the school’s graduation ceremony.
Before late Major Maxwell Adam Mahama’s untimely death, he was pursuing a Master’s Degree from the University of Leicester and was due to graduate in July this year. Among many things, the military man had a strong desire and high optimism of attaining greater exploits up the academic ladder.
The army man was lynched by some angry residents of Denkyira-Obuasi. He was given a state burial and his family has received a lot of support after his demise. The president has assured the family of a development fund that would see to the welfare of the wife and two children the military man left behind.
In recent times, the former president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama paid a courtesy call on the widow of the late Major, Barbara Mahama and her two children.
